some pics of lee adler shredding some florida waves yesterday. man that looks fun! where are our waves?! (maybe tomorrow?) looks like that little 5'7 quad is working good.......
my bud took a couple of grasshoppers to the north shore last week - here is the proof! way to shred the country kellen! remember - when the wave breaks here, dont be there, or youre gonna get drilled! - turtle elevator drop on the 6'6 hiding his face from the locals so they dont realize he is a haole!
just got back from a trip to the magical city of san diego. conditions were amazing - overhead eaves, glassy conditions, 75 degree sunny weather. throw in some cheap mexican food and great friends and you have an epic trip! thanks california!!!!!! pic from blacks beach friday am. photog - my bud andy jones who works for west wetsuits - the best rubber out there! http://westsurfing.com/
with the record warm temps today, i got to do some resin work in the winter! here is the new woodie. thin balsa deck with fiberglass bottom. 1# eps core (the shaped core weighed only 3/4 of a lb!) next step is to put on the wood rails.
a very unconventional surfboard made its way into the shop today. outline looks like a lopsided wakeboard and deck like had a pronounced s-shape. two fins on one side and one keel on the other. shaped by ryan burch for richard kenvin - two prominent surfers in the media these days. both incredible surfers with a knack for riding very different wave sliding devices. very cool!
